Spiritual Encouragement
Every client is provided an opportunity to receive personal encouragement, prayer, a Bible, and sometimes transportation to church services.
Practical Needs
Many clients are in need of emergency supplies, such as food, water, hygiene products, and sometimes bedding or transportation.

All services, support, and supplies are distributed at thought unto Christ himself. Every person, regardless of religion or race is worthy of equality.
Meet Our Team
Ministry Founder
Tarrance founded Jesus Cares Ministry in 2018 as a way to provide valuable necessities to Houston's homeless in the downtown area. In addition, the ministry also hold religious services in a nursing home and corresponds with prisoners.
Interim Pastor
Active service in ministry, Tarrance provides encouragement and support to everyone with a high level of energy and faith. Called to share the Gospel, he has served previously as Interim Pastor, and leads worship service in the nursing home.
Motivational Speaker
The Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the focus of every message of encouragement, motivation, and support. He has a big heart for people and is excited about sharing the Good News with everyone.
Ministry Project Manager
Jonathan currently serves as the Project Manager for the ministry in many areas. The latest project was creating an online presence for the ministry, including social media, website, and marketing channels.
With project management experience in small business and Christian Ministry, he's accustomed to the varied requirements that are often needed outside standard PM duties. These industries require a high level of flexibility and responsiveness to which he is capable.
Bachelor of Science Project Management
Graduated in 2014 from ITT Technical Institute, magna cum laude, and Dean's Award recipient.

Jesus Cares Ministry began in February, 2018 by Reverend Tarrance Hopkins in Houston, Texas by preaching to a group of transients. In addition to preaching, prayer, and (sometimes) transportation to church services, Jesus Cares Ministries also provides other necessities to transients in downtown Houston: Bibles, backpacks, hygiene products, food, clothing, bottled water, and more (as supplies last). These donated items are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
Jesus Cares Ministry also provides ministry support for the elderly in a local nursing home. Singing and preaching is followed by personal prayers and fellowship.
Correspondence with those in prison is also provided.
