What we do
Receive food and supplies for those in need
Houston has about 6,300 people who are without a home to sleep in on any given night (according to Coalition for the Homeless). The numbers reflect 50% of these people simply cannot afford a home, either through job loss or inability to earn enough to pay the bills.
Support for the sick and infirm
We work hard to ensure that none of our parishioners, especially the sick and the elderly, are neglected. We make hospital visits, provide religious services to a local nursing home, and provide ongoing prayerful support for the infirm.
Integration instead of exclusion
Practicing charity is not just an abstract concept – it requires direct communication and support. That’s why we focus on communicating with the homeless and those in prison who are in need of Christian encouragement.
